Dover and Milford Sleep Center Accredited
Are you having your sleep study at an AASM accredited sleep center?
Update: CNMRI is the only Certified Sleep Disorders Center in Kent County, with facilities in Dover and Milford.
We are very pleased and proud to announce the accreditation of CNMRI’s Sleep Disorders Center in Milford, which has been awarded a five-year accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Last year the CNMRI Sleep Disorders Center in Dover, Delaware was also granted this prestigious distinction.
Our facilities support the full range of services for patients with sleep disorders, including the evaluation and management of patients with obstructive and central sleep apnea, narcolepsy and insomnia. We manage the only CPAP Clinic in the State, with the goal of educating patients and improving compliance.
Accreditation is the process a sleep disorders center may voluntarily undergo to demonstrate that it has met the requirements developed by an accrediting body, in this instance the AASM. Diplomats of the American Board of Sleep Medicine develop AASM accreditation standards. The AASM may grant accreditation to full-service centers and specialty laboratories in the United States that have successfully completed the accreditation process and met the accreditation standards. When a sleep facility is accredited by the AASM, the center must continually maintain performance that meets or exceeds accreditation standards.
